I grew up in the Pacific Northwest in a family that taught me about Jesus. My educational background includes an undergraduate degree in Education and Music, and a Masters in Film and Television. After teaching music and English for eight years, I married an East Coaster, and moved to the other Washington where I continued my teaching career until my class size was reduced to one little infant!

My husband Will and I now have two daughters, Christine and Julia, a dog named Bonnie, and a whole flock of sheep on our little Skye Moor Farm. Shepherding our flock provides plenty of material for my column, Ann’s Lovin’ Ewe, and gives me an interesting perspective on the Lamb of God. I could have never guessed I would one day warm newborn lambs in my bathtub and blow dry them with two daughters!

My background in education and the arts means I can't help but add storytelling, drama, and music when I communicate the message of Jesus Christ.

I long for people of all ages to celebrate Jesus’ birth, the joy of salvation, and the power of His resurrection.

As you study His Word,

I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
