Kidnapping Dad...
Dear Friends,
“Preparing My Heart for Motherhood” goes to my editor this month, our eight puppies leave for their new homes, and the school musical I’ve been co-directing completes its run. It’s going to be quiet here.

One year, my daughters and I kidnapped their Dad for a Father’s Day Weekend to remember. We drove down to Afton, Virginia where we stayed at a delightful Bed and Breakfast, went wine tasting, shopped for fruit trees at the Edible Gardens, toured historic places, and hiked Cranberry Falls. |
