A Review posted on Amazon:

I have been so blessed by reading this book. There are days when I worry about managing a busy schedule with kids, and I open the book to a part about praying about your schedule and slowing down. Another day I find a message about how to deal with times when a child is sick, just when I need a little extra strength. This book is a great help to mothers with children of all ages, and I highly recommend it.

Punctuating Easter

Dear Friends,

Our Easter is punctuated by twenty-two white lambs and one little black one running around Skyemoor Farm. This always brings deeper meaning when we think of the “Lamb of God.” On Palm Sunday, we also participated in the Loudoun Passion Play. We celebrated Jesus’ arrival to Jerusalem, praised his healing, and then watched as the priests and soldiers hung him on a cross.

But because of Easter, we later cheered on “HE IS ALIVE!” There is so much to celebrate, because of Easter.

Blessings,

Ann

Because of Easter...
by Ann Stewart

“I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.” (John 5:24)

The girls and I had longed to say “good bye” but had been prevented from visiting because of our various illnesses. When we finally arrived, Aunt Rae had just slipped into a deep sleep. Nine-year-old Christine pulled out her violin and began playing a chorus by Handel as we all watched for any flicker of awareness.

When Christine finished, she turned back to us, and I saw tears streaming down her face. She had quietly sobbed while she played. My heart broke for her and for my seven-year-old daughter, Julia, who longed to leave last words of love.

But because of Easter, someday they will.

On the way home, we ...[read more]

Worth Considering.....

In December we collect Christmas CD’s and books and replay and re-read them throughout the season. Why don’t we do this at Easter, too? What books and music can be a part our Easter traditions? What music can fill our homes throughout the Lenten season?

One of my favorite Easter celebration songs is “Travis Cottrell’s “Alive, Forever Amen!” Travis handles most of the music at Beth Moore’s conferences. Consider adding a new book or CD each Spring to enrich your Easter celebration.
