Breathe in.......Breathe Out
Dear Friends,
It’s a busy season at Skye Moor Farm. This weekend my husband Will needed my help to pull a lamb. While I kept the mother-to-be down, he pulled on her baby. At last he freed a near lifeless lamb and began sticking straw up its nose. The lamb snorted with disgust and irritation but would not breathe on its own. Will then picked it up and swung it in a circle around his body. He pushed the lamb's chest to see if it would start breathing, but nothing worked. Finally Will opened the lamb's mouth and breathed into it. Not once but twice he exhaled as the lamb drank in life. Slowly the lamb began to breathe on its own.
| I’m never bored with life on the farm and the miracle of birth. There is always another lesson to learn. Today it was about our Good Shepherd, the one who literally breathes life into our very souls. And it reminded me about the need to breathe out whatever is troubling us, and to breathe in God. |

My good friend Jannine prays aloud to herself, "Breathe out Jannine, Breathe in God, Breathe out Jannine, Breathe in God” so often that when our mutual friend Jodie was needing a moment of spiritual refreshment, Jodie found herself saying, "Breathe out Jannine, Breathe in God! Breathe out Jannine…" Oops! Whoever you need to breathe out today, breathe in God!
With this new season, new babies, and Mother’s Day approaching, for the next few months I will share portions of Preparing My Heart for Motherhood (due to my editor in June), but I've adapted it for women in all stages of life. Today's excerpt is on joy.
Enjoy!

Kathy Troccoli's mellow worship CD is a long prayer to God beginning with the invitation to "Come Just as You Are.” Then it flows to "You are Awesome in this Place" and continues with simply beautiful arrangements of ‘70’s worship songs and classic hymns including “O Sacred Head Now Wounded” and “Great is Thy Faithfulness.” It ends appropriately with "My Life is in Your Hands." All the songs are accompanied by piano and/or guitar. The exquisite clarity of accompaniment and solo voice sounds personal and prayerful. Kathy sings from her heart with her honest, mellow, rich voice in keys easy for you to sing along with in a worshipful duet.
Kathy writes, "Much of our daily labor is in vain. But the worship of God and His Son, Jesus Christ, will last through all eternity. So, come just as you are and breathe in this everlasting life. Embrace the peace that passes all understanding. Join me in worship."
Who could resist such an invitation?
